At FUNCUAN we spent the first week inside the operation: consultations, mass sterilization days, hospitalization and field patrols. We collected the 14 official forms the foundation is required to deliver and designed the system from them. By week seven it was in production.

Verified migration
Your history arrives complete, and we check it table by table.
The biggest risk in switching systems is losing years of information. This is how we prevent it (how verified migration works, step by step):
We start from a complete copy
We work from a full copy of the previous system's database. A partial or hand-built export leaves records out.
A repeatable process
We can run the migration again without duplicating anything. If the previous system changes in the meantime, we rerun it and get the same result.
We count table by table
We compare the number of records and files in each table of the previous system with the new one. If a number doesn't match, we resolve it before moving on.
Then the previous system is switched off
The previous system stays available until every number matches.

What people ask us before starting.
How much does a custom system cost?
It depends on scope: modules, users, integrations, data volume and ongoing support. That's why we start with a Diagnostic from COP $4,000,000, depending on the scale and complexity of the operation. At the end you get a map of your operation, the proposed architecture, a phased plan and a firm quote for the build, and if you continue, the Diagnostic fee is credited against it.
How long does it take?
A multi-module platform with roles, forms and reports usually takes 4 to 8 weeks to production. FUNCUAN, including the migration of more than 500,000 files, took 7 weeks. There's always an early working pilot so you see something real before investing further.
Do you replace our current system or integrate with it?
We only replace what's holding the operation back. We almost always integrate with what exists first (databases, APIs, spreadsheets, WhatsApp), and the new system runs alongside the old one for the first months. When replacement is needed, the history is migrated in full and verified.
Where does our data live and who can see it?
On dedicated infrastructure from ISO/IEC 27001-certified providers, or in an account in your company's name if your policy requires it. Role-based access, change logs, encrypted backups with tested restores and an NDA before we see your information. Details are on our security page.
What happens after go-live?
We keep running it, with monitoring, verified backups, support hours for changes and ongoing development if your operation needs it. The code, the data and the documentation are yours. If you ever decide to work with another team, everything goes with you.
Do you work with institutions outside Barranquilla?
Yes. We're based in Barranquilla and work across Colombia and Latin America over video calls and email. What we do need is access to your real data and someone on your team available for questions.
